Writing an Organization Description
The section titled About the organization can be easily and quickly filled out, because you know your organization better than anyone else. And we want other DBL members to get to know you.
When accessing your organization from the organization portal, navigate to the ‘Profile’ tab and scroll down towards the bottom of the screen to the section titled: About the organization.
About the organization
- Website - where can we find you on the internet? (adding an https:// prefix is optional)
- Description - Add a brief description to let other DBL members know more about your organization. Please describe what your organization does and how you’re using the Bible to accomplish its mission and vision. Your description will be read by other DBL members to build rapport that’s useful in the content licensing process.
- Organization logo - add a logo for your organization in one of the accepted file formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, and SVG. Maximum file size: 2MB. Minimum dimensions 100x100 pixels. Maximum dimensions 500x250 pixels.
- Organization size - Specify whether your organization has less than 10 employees, 11-50 employees, or more than 50 employees. If your organization counts both paid employees and unpaid volunteers for its size, please count all of the people actively serving and working in your organization.
- Year established - This would typically be the year that you officially registered your organization with your country. Please use the format YYYY.
