How Searching, Filtering, and Sorting Works in DBL

Searching

Search is the fastest way to find a specific agreement by entering a keyword.

You can search by:

  • Content Title (e.g., "New Testament in Spanish")
  • Organization Name (e.g., “American Bible Society”)

Filtering

Filters help you narrow results based on specific criteria.

You can filter by multiple categories at once, such as:

  • Status: Active, Expired, Denied, etc.
  • Content Type: Text, Audio, Video, Braille
  • Language: Filter agreements by content language
  • Provided By: View agreements based on content contributors
  • Licensed To: Filter by the organizations holding licenses
  • Date: Creation or expiry date

Tip: You can combine filters to refine your results (e.g., Active + Audio + Spanish).

Sorting

Sorting organizes your filtered results. You can sort by:

  • Action Required: Shows agreements needing your attention first
  • Name: Alphabetical order by content or agreement title
  • Provided By: Organizes results by content contributors
  • Licensed To: Groups agreements by license holder
  • Language: Sorts agreements by content language
