Managing Notifications

Managing Notifications

Notification settings let you control which organization communications you receive by email — account, content, and licensing — across every organization you're a member of, or customized individually per organization.

Where to find notification settings

Click My account in the top navigation, then select My profile.

On the My account page, open the Notifications tab.

Organization notifications

The Organization notifications section lets you manage your account, content, and licensing communications for every organization you belong to. Note that changes made here will only affect your personal notifications and not the notifications other members of your organization might receive. Each member of an organization has the ability to manage their own notifications.

  • Communications — the top row of checkboxes (Account / Content / Licensing) applies across all of your organizations at once.
  • Per-organization rows — each organization listed below has its own set of checkboxes, letting you override the top-level setting for that organization individually.

Check or uncheck a box to turn that notification category on or off.

Notifications tied to a designated contact role

If you're the designated contact for a particular area — account, content, or licensing — of an organization, that checkbox is locked on for that organization and can't be unchecked:

To stop receiving those notifications, ask your account manager to assign a different designated contact for that area. Once reassigned, the checkbox unlocks.

Product notifications

The Notifications tab also includes a separate Product notifications section, where you can subscribe to or unsubscribe from the DBL monthly newsletter. This is independent of organization notifications and isn't tied to any organization or designated contact role.

Saving changes

There's no separate save step — changes to any checkbox or toggle take effect immediately.
