Downloading Content with Permission
When you're viewing an Open access content item, the alert box at the top will have a Download ZIP link for you to download a compressed file with all the listed files included. You may also download the files individually by using the download icon to the right.

How to download Controlled access files
When your organization, as a Distributor, has an active license agreement to download Controlled access content, clicking on the Files tab will show the alert box at the top:
- For content in text format, a Download ZIP link for you to download a compressed file with all the listed files included. You may also download the files individually by using the download icon to the right. Note that above the alert box, the active agreement and its expiry date is displayed.
- For content in audio or video format, a Download All link will download all the files. This function is only available in these browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Opera. See this article for all the details in using this functionality.

Alternatively, you can click on the License tab of the content item. Then scroll down to the Controlled access section and click on the View link next to the active agreement to use.

Unable to access files
There are three reasons why files cannot be accessed:
1. Access to content files requires an active agreement between the Distributor and Contributor organizations. Click on the blue "Request agreement" button to initiate a request with the content owner.

- If the screen says: ‘No available files,’ that means the files are not open access and you must request a license agreement. Click on the View agreements link to make a request using an available license template.

3. If the screen says: ‘This agreement has expired,’ that means your license agreement has expired. Click on the Request renewal link to renew the license agreement.
