Files

This part of the publishing process is where you upload all the files for your content bundle. Please upload Scripture content files, companion files to support distribution, and archive files for safekeeping. The Files page looks like this:

Distribution files

In this section, you will see your content title in bold with a down arrow to the right.

Click on this title box to toggle it open. You should see the divisions that were configured on the previous “Scripture” part. Typically, each division corresponds to the name of a Bible book.

If you see an error message, “No Divisions. Please add divisions in the Scripture step,” go back to the previous step. You can either click Scripture on the top progress bar or click the Back button in the footer.

Uploading files

Click on the left-side arrow to expand or collapse a division folder. Then click on the “Upload file or drag and drop” link to select file(s) to upload from your computer. Alternatively, drag and drop files from your desktop into this upload box.

As files are being uploaded, drag to reorder files into the corresponding division folders to ensure accurate distribution.

In order for the Scripture reference to be clear when using downloaded files, a label or Scripture reference(s) must be added to each file. To do so, first click on the respective file and click the label icon as shown in the screenshot below.

Then, fill in the respective information and click save.

You will see that the label was successfully added by the label icon that now appears after the file name.

Additionally, you may select a file and click on one of the icons at the top action bar to remove a file or rename a file. In order for the Scripture reference to be clear when using downloaded files, a label or Scripture reference(s) must be added to each file.

Companion files

Archive files

Click on the “Upload file or drag and drop” link to select file(s) to upload from your computer. Alternatively, drag and drop files from your desktop into this upload box.

Save and continue

When you click on the ‘Save and continue’ button in the footer, all the files you’ve uploaded will be saved as a content draft on DBL and you’ll go on to the next part, Connections.
