Uploading Content

There are two ways to contribute and upload content into the DBL:

  1. Content in all formats (text, audio, video) may be uploaded directly in DBL—available now.
  2. Content in text format may be uploaded through Paratext.

Prepare to Upload Content

The process of uploading content into DBL requires a significant amount of metadata and files, so preparation is essential. Only Content managers in a Contributor organization are allowed to add content into DBL.

To begin, click on the ‘+ New’ button at the top of the DBL dashboard. Then click on the Upload Content menu item.

The first page provides an overview for how to get ready to upload:

See the Metadata Guide & Worksheet for detailed lists of specific information & files that are required to add, upload, and publish a content item.

When you’re ready, click the ‘Get started’ button to go to the next step, Choosing a Format.

Contributors may upload content into DBL with its guided process, one part at a time.

Additional documentation is being created to provide more helpful info. (NOTE: Some articles currently online are obsolete & deprecated.)
