Uploading Content

The process of uploading content into DBL requires a number of steps, so being well-prepared is essential. The screen below informs you how to get ready to upload content.

  • Permissions. Note that only content managers may upload content into DBL. If you’re not a Content Manager and need to be one, contact your organization’s Account Manager.
  • Readiness Check. Note the various requirements for membership, compliance with FOBAI standards, and the importance of making sure your team is available during the content upload process. 
  • Sections of the content upload process. The process of uploading your content will happen in three stages:
    • Descriptive: information about your content that makes it easy to find and identify
    • Structural: description of the organization and the formatting of the actual files
    • Administrative: connection to other systems or content as well as the status and visibility in DBL
