Understanding your Dashboard
The DBL Dashboard gives you quick access to your most important tasks. It’s organized by tabs and adjusts based on your role and permissions.
This guide walks you through what each section means and links you to the right help articles so you can take action right away.
1. Browse Content
This panel shows the number of content entries your organization is working with:
- Owned – Content your organization has rights to.
- Managed – Content you manage on behalf of a rights holder.
- Licensed – Content you’ve been given access to through a license.
- Unpublished – Content that’s still in draft or under review.
If you want to check which licenses are attached to your content or want to filter by specific entries, see
→ See Agreements by Content (Sort & Filter)
To learn how content is made available for public or organizational use, read
→ Open Access (Creative Commons)
If your organization is a distributor and you're just getting started, go to
2. Member Community
This panel helps you understand who’s part of the DBL ecosystem. You’ll see:
- The total number of DBL member organizations.

You can click View members to browse organization profiles. This can be helpful when drafting agreements or checking who has access to your content.
